Do I need a car to stay at Casa Aram?
Yes, a car is recommended. We are in Tijarafe (Camino La Justa 21). From the main road and the bus stop it is about 500 m uphill to the house; without a car this is not ideal for everyone on holiday.

We use Starlink internet with good speeds and stable Wi-Fi in the house. If you need a speed test before booking, just ask.

How to get here from the airport
From La Palma Airport (SPC) to Casa Aram in Tijarafe. The most comfortable option is to rent a car.
- Take the LP-5 towards Santa Cruz and connect with the LP-3 towards El Paso / Los Llanos.
- Cross the tunnel, go down to Los Llanos and continue on the LP-1 towards Tijarafe.
- In Tijarafe, continue towards La Punta and Camino La Justa 21 (Casa Aram).

Welcome to Casa Aram. These rules are intended to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests and to keep the property in good condition. By confirming a booking, the guest declares that they have read and accepted them.
1. Use of the accommodation
The property is rented exclusively for tourist and holiday use. It may not be used for professional activities, parties, large gatherings or any purpose other than temporary accommodation.
2. Number of guests
Only the people included in the booking may stay at the property. It is not permitted to exceed the maximum authorised occupancy or allow overnight stays by unregistered third parties without prior authorisation from the owner or manager.
3. Check-in and check-out
Standard check-in is from 15:00 and check-out must take place before 11:00, unless otherwise expressly agreed. Guests must communicate their estimated arrival time in advance to facilitate key handover or access.
4. Guest identification
For legal and security reasons, guests must provide the data necessary for booking management, identification and, where applicable, compliance with guest registration obligations under the relevant regulations. Excessive or unnecessary data will not be requested for this purpose.
5. Minors
Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the stay.
6. No parties or disturbances
Parties, events and any disturbing, unhealthy, dangerous or unlawful activities are not allowed. Guests must respect the neighbours' rest, especially at night, and use the property, terraces, common areas and access points responsibly.
7. No smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation. Smoking is only allowed in the designated outdoor areas, using ashtrays and avoiding nuisance.
8. Pets
Pets are not allowed.
9. Care of the accommodation
Guests agree to take care of the property, furniture, appliances, bed linen, towels and all other household items. Any damage, malfunction or incident must be reported as soon as possible.
10. Rubbish, order and reasonable use
Guests must keep the property in a reasonably tidy and hygienic condition during their stay. Before departure, they must:
- Leave rubbish collected and, where possible, dispose of it in the corresponding containers.
- Switch off lights, air conditioning, heating and appliances that should not remain on.
- Close doors and windows when leaving the property.
The final cleaning fee does not cover damage, extraordinary dirt or a clearly inappropriate condition of the property.
11. Breakdowns and liability
The owner or manager will not be responsible for interruptions in utilities or external services beyond their control, except where required by law. Guests are liable for any damage caused by negligent, improper or rule-breaking use.
12. Breach
Serious breach of these rules may lead to cancellation of the stay, refusal of access or early departure from the accommodation, without entitlement to a refund where legally applicable, and without prejudice to any claim for damages.

- 100% refund of the amount paid if cancellation is made at least 60 days before the check-in date.

- No refund if cancellation is made less than 30 days before the check-in date.
No-show
In the event of a no-show on the scheduled arrival date, there will be no right to a refund.
Early departure
If the guest decides to leave the accommodation before the scheduled departure date, unused nights will not be refunded unless there is an express agreement or a legally applicable case.
Cancellation due to force majeure or accommodation unavailability
If, for reasons not attributable to the guest, the accommodation cannot be provided under the booked conditions, an alternative solution will be offered where possible or the corresponding amounts paid will be refunded.

Important: we do not request a copy of an ID card or passport unless there is a specific legal basis and it is strictly necessary. The general rule is to collect only the necessary data and verify identity by proportionate means.

Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- Managing information, availability and booking requests.
- Formalising and performing the accommodation contract.
- Contacting you before, during and after the stay regarding the booking.
- Managing payments, invoicing, incidents and customer service.
- Complying with legal obligations applicable to tourist accommodation, including guest registration and communication of guest data to competent authorities.
- Defending our rights and interests in the event of claims.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract or application of pre-contractual measures when you request or make a booking.
- Compliance with legal obligations, in particular guest registration and reporting obligations under applicable law.
- The controller's legitimate interest in administrative management, security, incident handling and defence against claims.
- Your consent, only when necessary for purposes not covered by the above bases, such as marketing communications if you choose to enable them.
5. Data recipients
Your data may be disclosed to:
- Technology and service providers acting on behalf of the controller, such as web hosting, booking engine, email, administrative management or payment gateway providers.
- Public administrations, law enforcement authorities, courts or the public prosecutor when there is a legal obligation.
- Accounting, tax or legal advisers when necessary for the proper management of the business.
Your personal data will not be sold to third parties.
6. Data retention
Your data will be kept for the time necessary for each purpose:
- Enquiry data will be retained for as long as necessary to deal with the request and afterwards for the periods required by law.
- Booking and invoicing data will be retained while the contractual relationship exists and afterwards for the applicable limitation periods.
- Data processed to comply with guest registration and reporting obligations will be retained for the period required by applicable regulations; Royal Decree 933/2021 generally provides for retention of computerised registration data for three years from the end of the contracted service.
7. Data subject rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by sending a request to hernandez.aram@gmail.com and proving your identity where necessary.
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or improper disclosure, according to the level of risk involved in the processing.
9. Mandatory data
The forms will identify the fields required to process an enquiry or booking. If you do not provide the minimum required data, we may not be able to manage your request properly or complete the booking.

Data relating to minors will only be processed when necessary for booking management and always through the adult person responsible for the booking or as otherwise required by applicable law.
